Red Bean Bun



I did my first bun yesterday. I'm always wanted to try out but
because lack of confident and have to take long time to do this.

Finally, because of the boring Sunday and I bought the bread
flour in two weeks ago. And also my bf bought me a mixer
before, I decided to try out!

From start to make the dough until finished, I felt very
nervous because I scared that it would be successful.
Luckly, the result still can acceptable.

Weekend Dinner

I have cooked a pot of spareribs shark fin melon soup for my
weekend dinner. I bought the ingredients from wet market the
day before after work.Because of I have a class that night therefore
the time is a bit hurry. Besides, I added Unagi Kabayaki for my
extra dishes.This usually is quite expensive sell in the Japanese
shop.However, I bought this at Lintas supermarket’s clearance
stock promotion.
这个周末煲了这锅排骨鱼翅瓜汤.汤的材料是昨天下班后在菜市
场预先买的;因为今晚还有一项课程,所以时间有点紧凑.



另外我加了一道Unagi Kabayaki.这道菜平时在日食店的价钱卖
得比较贵.而这一次我是到亚庇市 Lintas 的一间超市买的.这间
超市因为租约到期要搬迁所以举行促销.这次我买的 Unagi Kabayaki
比在日食店买的价钱便宜一半.

French Toats

日前和同事们去了一趟市内的 Upperstar餐厅为一位同事做Farewell.

犹记得其中一位同事点了一款小食,应该是叫 Bruschetta 吧!是一道很
开胃的小吃.先把法国面包片抹一些 Garlic spread后洒上 Mozzarella
Cheese, 放入烘炉烘至 Cheese溶化, 再洒上切碎的新鲜番茄,烤香的
牛肉碎和铺上生菜丝即可食用了.只可惜价钱贵了点.

过后,一直心痒痒还想再去吃;所以就在家里弄出了这款小吃了.虽然
卖像有七分像,可惜味道差了点.因为Cheese的份量不够多,而且味道
也淡了点.

Went to Upperstar Restaurant in town with my colleagues was on the
other day to make Farewell. Still remembered colleague has ordered
a snack, should be call Bruschetta.

I tried to made this at home after, but the taste not like I ate before
because not enough of salt and cheese.

Weekend dishes - ABC soup




我并不清楚这道汤真正的名字,从我学会烹饪至今,无论是母亲或
朋友口中都叫这道汤为 ABC汤.而它的材料就用了猪大骨, 番茄,
马铃薯, 红萝卜, 洋葱, 榨菜再加清水以慢火煲两个半小时.

I not very sure the name of this soup, my mum and friends
always call this is the ABC soup. But its ingredients used the
pig big bone, tomato, potato, carrot, onion, the pickled mustard
add in enough water and cook about two and half hour.

煲汤是我每个周末晚餐桌上的其中一样菜肴.有时只要有汤水我
就不必花心思想要煮什么其他的菜肴了.

Pizza Bread




Sometimes I like to have a piece of pizza at Pizza Hurt Restaurant
for my lunch or dinner when I feel lazy or depressed.

I got this pizza bread idea from Nancy mummy and I
remember I got a piece of mozzarella cheese in my fridge.

With the simple steps, I spread some margarine onto the bread
slice and bake for a while. After take out from oven, sprinkle enough
of chopped sausage, tomato, pineapple. Lastly, sprinkle some grated
mozzarella cheese on top, and bake in the oven again till the cheese
melted.

Coffee Cheese Cake




My bf asked me make a cheese cake for him last week. So, I
decided to make this coffee cheesecake because I get some
cream cheese left after my tiramisu cake in the fridge and
not trouble me to prepare for the ingredients, what I need
are just the instant coffee powder, eggs, corn flour and
whipping cream only.

I used whipping cream for the topping and add in 2tbsp of Kahlua.

I still remember my bf's driving friend - Mark, an Australian
like to eat cheese cake. So I ask my bf bring some for him!

这款蛋糕我用了松软的海绵蛋糕体,再用鲜奶油和新鲜切粒水果做夹
心;甜中带微酸的口味很是开胃!

American Chocolate Brownie

Chocolate Black Forest Cake

Made these two cakes for my colleague's daugther, Thung-Thung's
birthday. I have decided that want draw some special on the cake.
Last, I had draw this winnie mouse face! I used chocolate sponge
cake for the cake base, sandwich the cake layers with chocolate
cream, sauce & dark pitted cherry; then cover the whole cake with
fresh cream and chocolate rice.



This is the 1st time for me to made this dolly girl cake! I was
satisfied and happy after done!Ha,Ha....

Kuih Makmur

这一道饼干是依照Anna Phua的食谱做的.第一次做时粉团太湿
了,很难要包入花生馅料.第二次做时,我调整了蛋液的份量,粉团
的湿度刚刚好,花生馅料也容易包了.

亚参甘榜鱼


这道亚参甘榜鱼是跟我老妈子学的.

从小家人都喜欢吃这款鱼.除了油煎的吃法外,加入亚参烹煮也是
很开胃的吃法!


Tiramisu

突然心血来潮做了这个Tiramisu.
除了依照食谱用了Kahlua酒,我还另外加了Rum酒.吃起来有浓浓
的咖啡味和酒香.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Muffin

Yam Chiffon Cake



之前做的Hazelnut Chiffon Cake不成功,所以在不放弃的
心情下又再做了这个芋头戚风蛋糕.

终于这次成功了!只是我依照食谱六粒蛋的份量用9"的
Tube Pan,蛋糕出炉时很高,下一次应该可以试用10"的Tube
Pan.






食谱补上:

蛋黄面糊:
6个 蛋黄
150 gm 熟芋头泥
150 gm 椰浆
1/4 tsp 盐
60 ml 油
1/2 tsp 芋头香精,随意
50 gm 糖 (我用40gm)
180 gm 蛋糕粉

蛋白糊:
6个 蛋白
1/2 tsp 塔塔粉
100 gm 糖 (我用80gm)

1.蛋黄面糊:将蛋黄,芋头泥,椰浆,盐,油和糖拌均在搅
拌盆里。
2.加入面粉,搅拌均匀。备用。
3.将蛋白和塔塔粉用另一个搅拌盆里搅拌至粗泡沫,加入
糖再搅拌至干性发泡。
4.把蛋白霜分次加入蛋黄面糊里,轻轻搅拌均匀。
5.将面糊倒入一个不涂油的9寸戚风模里。
6.放入预热烤箱以160'C烘1小时10分。
7.蛋糕取出后,倒扣在桌上至完全冷却。


Egg Yolk Batter:
6 egg yolks
150 gm cooked yam, mashed
150 gm coconut milk
1/4 tsp salt
60 ml oil
1/2 tsp yam essence, optional
50 gm caster sugar (I used 40gm)
180 gm cake flour

Egg White Foam:
6 egg white
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
100 gm caster sugar (I used 80gm)

1.Combine egg yolks, mashed yam, coconut milk, salt, oil,
essence and sugar in a mixing bowl.
2.Fold in flour, mix well.
3.Whisk egg white and cream of tartar until soft peak foam.
4.Add in sugar, continue to whisk until stiff peak foam.
5.Gently fold egg white foam into egg yolk batter, mix
until well combined.
6.Pour batter into a 9 inch ungreased tube pan.
7.Bake at preheat oven at 160'C for 1 hour 15 min.
8.Remove cake from oven, invert cake onto table until
completely cooled.
