山楂千层蛋糕 (Haw Flake Layer Cake)


今天我过得很有满足感也乐翻天,再加上还有一点点的成就感.
哈哈哈.....因为我一直想尝试做的千层蛋糕成功了!之前和朋友
提起说我突然很想吃千层蛋糕,也很想尝试做一次;朋友开玩笑
问回我说:"你有了啊!"(真的好笑).

其实我是在 这里 看到一些漂亮
惹味的千层蛋糕才会有这股冲
动. 印象中,千层蛋糕用的蛋黄材料比较多,如此一来我又担心
把蛋白浪费了.还好, Wendy 的食谱都是用全蛋的;而且制作步骤
也很详细.


我选用的红字炼奶

做这蛋糕搅拌面糊并不难.只是在烘烤时才是最考耐力的, 单
是烘烤蛋糕我用了两个多小时.
.一开始我还捉拿不定每一层
的烘烤时间,所有每一层的焦黄颜色都有分别.

  13. Thanks for trying out my recipe and linking it back to my blog. Your layers look fabulous!!!

    Maybe u can try putting the cake in a waterbath during the last few layers to avoid the base getting burnt.

    If u cut the cake the next day, the haw flakes will be softer.:)

  15. 我那天也是发现了这用全蛋的食谱,很想试做,可是还得三思,因为真的花很多时间。我家那小妞不能让她独处太久,不然会呱呱叫,所以真的要选个良辰吉日才可以动手。。呵呵~

  16. No wonder I see crumbs on the cake slices :)
    U cut it way too soon then.

    The best is to leave it in a container or ziplock bag, and cut it the next day, cos the moisture from inside the cake will even out.

    I also have a slice in the next morning and notice that it moisture than before.

  21. my mom n i love haw flakes (yummiexpress.freetzi.com/haw_flakes_index.htm)! when she was a kid she kept on eating hawflakes... and when she went for a pee, she was shocked cuz her urine was kinda red. haha.. she ate too much haw flakes!!
